If you want a 5-star hotel that won't break the bank, the Landmark is an excellent choice. It has the lowest entry price for all the 5 star guest friendly hotels in Bangkok and it's also one of my favorites. It has a guest rating of 8.8 out of 10, valet parking, outdoor pool, spa, free wifi, luggage storage, airport transfer and 24-hour front desk.
It’s also conveniently located near Nana Plaza, just a 2-minute walk away, and only a 1-minute walk to the BTS Skytrain. The Skytrain, an above-ground train system, is the best way to get around the city.
I found the cheapest price at $110 USD for a room at this hotel. It can vary depending on the season and how for you book it out. And of course, it's 100% guest friendly. I contacted them recently to confirm and here is the proof from the manager: ""We are a guest friendly hotel. Your guests can stay free overnight but may we recoment your guest to contact the front desk for the ID card as per your own secuirty. Yours faithfully, Tassanee S. (Ms.) Duty Manager".
An excellent 2nd option to the Landmark for the cheapest guest friendly 5 star hotel is the Skyview Hotel Bangkok. It's located in the Phrom Phong area (EM district) on Soi 24 and just a 2 minute walk to the Phrom Phong BTS Skytrain station.
This hotel has a high rating of 8.8 out of 10, an outdoor pool, a rooftop lounge and bar with beautiful views of the city, 24 hour front desk, a fitness center, free wifi, valet parking, airport transfer and luggage storage.
Starting at just $128 per night for a room, you're getting a quality 5-star hotel for a low price. Choose this hotel over the Landmark if you don't care to be too close to Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy. I confirmed once again they are guest friendly just recently and here was the response from the hotel's supervisor: "For the safety of our value guest, Please let her/him present ID card to our receptionist and can receive the ID card back later. No additional charge. Best regards, JIRAPA P. (PACH) RESERVATION SUPERVISOR."
5-Star Guest Friendly Hotels Near Nana Plaza
1. The LandMark Bangkok
The Landmark Bangkok makes another appearance on this page. As mentioned earlier, it is the most affordable 5-star guest-friendly hotel and also the closest 5-star hotel to Nana Plaza.
The Landmark is just a 2 minute walk to Nana Plaza. It's not located on Soi 4 where Nana Plaza is, but on 138 Sukhumvit Rd which is right around the corner from Soi 4. The Nana BTS Skytrain station is just a minute away making it very convenient for getting around the city.
The 2nd closest 5-star hotel to Nana Plaza is the JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok. It is located on Sukhumvit Soi 2 and is just a 4 minute walk to Nana Plaza. It's a short walk to Nana BTS Skytrain as well, which will take you just 7 minutes on foot.
This hotel boasts an impressive guest rating of 8.9 out of 10. It has free parking, free wifi, a shuttle service, outdoor pool & fitness center, luggage storage, airport transfer and 24-hour front desk. Prices start around $196 per night.
It's also guest friendly. I have stayed at this hotel on a few occasions and never had to pay any joiner fees when bringing a girl to my room overnight. I contacted the hotel to inquire about their guest-friendly policy, and here is their official response: There is no extra charge for temporary visitor but he /she must be collected by the guest at the lobby. You may inform our staff that you expect a visitor and once he/she contacts, our staff will let you know. The Grande Centre Point Hotel Terminal 21 is the closest 5-star guest friendly hotel to Soi Cowboy. It's located right on top of the Terminal 21 shopping mall on Soi 21. It's just a 4 minute walk to Soi Cowboy and a 1 minute walk to the Asok BTS Skytrain and MRT subway.

And of course - it's guest friendly. The 3rd closest 5-star guest friendly hotel to Soi Cowboy is the Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit. This hotel is conveniently located right on Sukhumvit road beside Soi 21. It takes just 7 minutes to walk to Soi Cowboy. To get to the MRT Subway or BTS Skytrain, it's just an 8 minute walk.
This hotel has an exceptional 9.2 out of 10 rating from guests that have stayed here. Prices start at just $150 a night. The hotel has an airport transfer service, rooftop pool, gym & spa, valet parking, free wifi and luggage storage.
