Recommended Hotels Near Patpong Within a 5 Minute Walk
To help you choose a guest friendly hotel from the above list, I have further segmented the hotels that are recommended within a 5 minute walk. This selection is based on price, my personal experiences, and actual reviews from previous guests.
The Quarter Silom by UHG
- 4 star hotel
- Price range - $171 - $58 USD
- Average guest Rating: 8.7 out of 10 - "Excellent"
- 4 minute walk to Patpong
My first recommendation within a 5 minute walk to Patpong is The Quarter Silom by UHG. Located on Soi Than Tawan, the Quarter is just a 4 minute walk to Patpong. This hotel offers a lot of luxury for a pretty low price of just starting at $55 USD per night. The hotel has an outdoor pool, gym, sauna, free wifi in all rooms, luggage storage and a 24-hour front desk. I absolutely loved staying here and it's one of my favorites in the area. Other guests that have stayed here praise the cleanliness and modernity of the hotel. Rooms are described as new, very clean, and nicely decorated. The staff is friendly, attentive and very courteous. The hotel offers excellent value for its price, with guests feeling they received more than expected for what they paid. Guests also appreciate the amenities like the gym, pool, and smart TV with Netflix and YouTube. The breakfast was also really good, they even have American breakfast. On the down-side, if you have a car, there is very limited parking so that could be an issue.
I have verified it is guest friendly from my own experience at the Quarter and have also reached out to the hotel to confirm they still have a guest friendly policy which they do: "Hello sir, no problem with guest, joiner is free of charge. Sincerely Yours, Soirat C. (Micky) Reservations Supervisor."
The Rose Residence Bangkok
- 3 star hotel
- Price range - $39 - $178 USD
- Average guest Rating: 8.8 out of 10 - "Excellent"
- 5 minute walk to Patpong
My second recommendation is The Rose Residence Bangkok which is just a 5 minute walk to Patpong. This 3-star hotel has an exceptional guest rating of 9.1 out of 10. It's also budget-friendly with rooms starting at just $39 USD a night. This hotel features free parking, an outdoor pool, 24-hour front desk, free wifi in all rooms, a shuttle service, luggage storage and airport transfer service. Guests found the rooms to be spacious and comfortable, with a mix of modern amenities and traditional Thai decor. The breakfast received positive feedback for being pleasant and tasty, despite having limited options. Numerous reviews praised the staff for their friendliness and exceptional hospitality, often noting personal touches like handwritten welcome letters. The lush garden, shady trees, and inviting pool area create a tranquil environment. The pool area is a highlight for many, providing a relaxing spot under the trees. Overall, guests felt the hotel provided good value for money and many return for a second visit.
As for being guest friendly, the only stipulation is that when you book, book for 2 people instead of a single traveler. On Agoda, this does not cost you anymore. As long as you book for 2, you will not have to pay a joiner fee according to the hotel.
Le Méridien Bangkok
- 5 star hotel
- Price range - $171 - $323 USD
- Average guest Rating: 9.1 out of 10 - "Exceptional"
- 2 minute walk to Patpong
A great luxurious, 5-star accomodation with a 2 minute walk to Patpong is the Le Méridien Bangkok. This hotel has a lovely rooftop pool, spa, free parking, airport transfer & shuttle service and free wifi in all rooms. Also very rare is that this hotel is not only guest friendly but it's pet-friendly too! Guest have said this hotel has spacious, clean, and modern rooms with excellent amenities such as comfortable beds, a variety of pillow options, and luxurious bathrooms. The breakfast has a wide selection and is of great quality. People love the hotel's amenities, including the pool, gym, in-room toiletries, hairdryer, weighing scale, and automated bidet toilets. The hotel's location was frequently mentioned as a positive, being close to train stations, taxis, and local attractions like Lumpini Park and Patpong night market.
The Le Méridien Bangkok is verified to be a guest friendly hotel. Whether your guest stays for a few hours or overnight, there is no charge. The only stipulation is that if you want your guest to have breakfast with you, then there is a charge but other than that there is no joiner fee. According to the reservation shift leader at the hotel: "If just stay overnight without any comsumption or Breakfast buffet in the morning, there will be no charge. Yours sincerely, JARUWAN T. (JANE). Reservation Shift Leader."
Recommended Hotels Near Patpong Within a 6 to 10 Minute Walk
There are not many guest friendly hotels near Patpong within a 6 to 10 minute walk to Patpong as most are within 5 minutes and others are 15+ minutes away. However, here are two that I recommend, one being a budget friendly option and the other a luxurious one.
Bally Suite Silom
- 3 star hotel
- Price range - $29 - $55 USD
- Average guest Rating: 7.7 out of 10 - "Very Good"
- 7 minute walk to Patpong
The Bally Suite Silom is a budget friendly guest friendly hotel which is just a 7 minute walk to Patpong. It's right on Si Lom road and a 2 minute walk to the Sala Daeng BTS station making it easy to get around the city. This 3-star hotel does not have a pool so if that is important to you, there are many hotel options on this page with a pool to choose from. It does have free wifi in all rooms, luggage storage, a 24-hour front desk, safety deposit boxes and a breakfast buffet. The Bally is close to shopping malls, food vendors, and convenience stores. There is easy access to restaurants, massage shops, and nightlife. Guests that have stayed here say that the rooms are clean and well-maintained with comfortable beds. This hotel has good value for the money, with the facilities and amenities are considered adequate for the cost. The staff is very friendly and very attentive which makes for a nice stay. On the down-side, expect it to be a bit noisy with loud music from nearby clubs and entertainment venues until late in the night.
The Bally Suite Silom is verified as a guest friendly hotel. I confirmed this based on my own personal experience plus I contacted the hotel recently to confirm they are still guest friendly and here was the response: "If you stay just one person we do not charge more. Mr Win, Guest Service Agent Bally Suite Silom." I know that's a bit broken English but what Mr Win means is that if you just bring one guest to your room there is no charge.
Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park
- 5 star hotel
- Price range - $87 - $115 USD
- Average guest Rating: 8.7 out of 10 - "Excellent"
- 7 minute walk to Patpong
If you're looking for a luxurious, 5-star hotel not far from Patpong in Silom, the Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park Hotel is a fantastic option. It's near the intersection of Rama IV Road and Si Lom Road. To get to Patpong, you're looking at a 7 minute walk which is not bad at all. This hotel is just a 5 minute walk to Sala Daeng BTS Skytrain station making it easy to get around the city. It's also very close to Lumpini Park so if you fancy a walk in the park it's a couple minutes away. This hotel has a beautiful outdoor pool, valet parking, free wifi in all rooms, BBQ facilities, a gym, airport transfer and 24 hour front desk. I stayed at this hotel on 2 occasions and never had to pay for my guest. We both loved the facilities, especially the pool. The views of the city from the rooms I stayed at were amazing, especially at night. Other guests that have stayed here say that the rooms are spacious, clean and well-appointed with comfortable beds and Japanese-style bidet toilets. They also loved the breakfast giving it high praise for the variety and quality. I haven't heard too many complaints except that room service seems to be slow.
The Crowne Plaza is 100% guest friendly and verified from my own experience and also officially from the hotel. Here was the response I got: "Greetings from Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park Hotel . Thank you for your interested toward our property. Regarding to your enquiry , we not charge for joiner but preferred to be register at Front Desk for the benefit and security reason. Best regards, Jirasuda S.(Ms.)"
Top Hotels Near Patpong Requiring a Short BTS Ride
These next hotel recommendations are a little further away from the madness of Patpong. You could still walk, but it is recommended you take the BTS, which is an above ground train. Keep in mind the BTS runs till midnight, so if you have a late night out at Patpong you'll need to take a taxi back to your hotel. Choose one of these hotels if you don't mind a litte adventure to get to Patpong - there's many things to see along the way and to be honest I prefer these options more than the hotels very close to Patpong. The best feature is the views from the Chao Phraya River.
Lebua at State Tower
- 5 star hotel
- Price range - $136 - $359 USD
- Average guest Rating: 8.7 out of 10 - "Excellent"
- 34 minutes to Patpong with BTS
Have you seen the movie "Hangover 2"? This is the exact hotel where they shot the scene from the roof. The views from the rooftop bar and restaurant are spectacular, especially at night. This 5-star hotel is surprisingly affordable, with rooms starting at just $136 per night, and it offers stunning views of the Chao Phraya River. To get to Patpong, the best way would be to take the BTS Skytrain. Just walk to Saphan Taksin station which is a 10 minute walk, then take it to Sala Daeng BTS Station, which is just 4 stops away. The total travel time is about half hour. This hotel features a beautiful outdoor pool, gym, valet parking, shuttle service & airport transfer and free wifi in all rooms. From my personal experience staying here and from what I have read from other people's experiences is that the rooms are very spacious, clean with comfortable beds. I appreciated the Nespresso machines and large fridges. The views from the balcony are also quite amazing. As for staff, they are always polite and very willing to help when needed. The breakfast received high marks for its diversity and quality, with specific mentions of made-to-order options like crepes and pancakes. Many guests enjoyed the breakfast setting, often by the pool. On the down-side, the rooms are showing signs of aging but this didn't bother me at all.
As mentioned before, The Lebua is 100% guest friendly based on my own experience and I even got the official word from the hotel: "Warmest greetings from lebua Suite Reservation. We are not charged for a joiner. Should you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us. Best regards, Pitchamon J. (Ying) Suite Reservation Team lebua at State Tower."

The hotel offers a good breakfast with both Asian and Western options. Many reviewers praised the hotel's convenient location, close to the BTS Skytrain, ferry pier, and local attractions such as street food vendors and markets.
