What area in Bangkok Should You Book Your Guest Friendly Hotel?
Most of the guest friendly hotels in Bangkok are located along Sukhumvit Rd. Sukhumvit has many "Soi's" which are roads or alleyways that branch off of Sukhumvit Rd.
You will want to book a hotel somewhere along Sukhumvit road so you'll have walking distance access to the BTS Skytrain which is an above-ground subway. This list includes all the guest friendly hotels along Sukhumvit from Soi 1 to 33 for your convenience.
If you want to be near Nana Plaza, you should book a hotel around Soi 4. If you want to be near Soi Cowboy, book a hotel near Soi 21 or Soi 23.

Legacy Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit (fomerly Legacy Express Bangkok) is located on SOI 1 walking distance from Nana and Phloen Chit BTS station. Although there is no pool, you do get free wifi in all rooms, safety deposit box, laundry service and more. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfy. Room rates are very affordable.
Legacy Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit is verified as guest friendly. There is no joiner fee and the hotel replied to my email with - "Yes joiner can stay overnight and for sure The Hotel needs to security you with a joiner ID or Passport at the front desk to record guest visitors and will return once the joiner is out."
Skyy Hotel

The Skyy Hotel is located on Soi 1 walking distance to Nana and Chit Lom BTS. This hotel does not have a pool. People enjoy the good sized balconies, the modern and functional design, comfortable beds and being able to have a good nights sleep being off the main road not near noisy bars. On the downside, the rooms are on the smaller size and some have complained about unreliable wifi.
Skyy Hotel is verified as guest friendly. Guests can stay overnight without paying a fee. When I contacted them Simone from the front desk also told me "The guest will need to provide an ID for verification."
Sukhumvit Soi 2

The Aspen Suites Hotel is located on Soi 2 Sukhumvit walking distance to both Phloen Chit and Asok BTS. It has a pool, fitness center, free parking, shuttle service, luggage storage and more. Guest at the Aspen Suites have said the rooms are large and well-equipped (microwave, fridge, bathtub), the staff is friendly and helpful - except for one particular receptionist apparently!

The DoubleTree by Hilton Bangkok Ploenchit (formerly Majestic Grande Hotel) is located on Soi 2 between Phloen Chit and Nana BTS skytrain stations. It has free wifi in all rooms, pool, fitness center, luggage storage and more. Guests have said the rooms are clean and spacious with modern amenities. The breakfast is excellent, friendly and helpful staff and the hotel has good value for the money. It's a 9 minute walk to Nana BTS which I think is fine but maybe not for some.
The Doubletree by Hilton is verified as guest friendly. My response from the hotel was "Dear Charlie, there is no joiner fee charge. Highly recommended to let guest contact at reception for registration"
JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok

The JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok is located on Soi 2 in between Phloen Chit and Nana BTS skytrain stations. It's a stone throw away from Sukhumvit Rd so very convenient. It has free wifi in all rooms, shuttle service, 24 hour front desk, outdoor pool & more. Guests at this hotel have said the staff are extremely helpful, polite, and professional, the rooms are modern, and well-appointed, incredible food quality, particularly in the hotel's restaurants, good facilities including spa, gym, and pool. The downside is it's more expensive to other hotels in the area.
The JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok is verified as guest friendly. Here is a reply from the hotel directly: "All in-house guests are required to register at Front Desk. Individual guests are required to meet their visitors at the lobby and may bring them to the room. Hotel staff are not allowed to open/escort any visitors to the guest rooms directly.
There is no extra charge for temporary visitor but he /she must be collected by the guest at the lobby. The Hotel Solo Sukhumvit 2 is located on Soi 2 and a 5 minute walk to Nana and Phloen BTS station. Facilities include free parking, free wifi in all rooms, laundry and luggage service, and safety deposit boxes. Guests (myself included) say the location is quiet peaceful despite central location, clean and modern rooms, friendly and helpful staff, a wonderful rooftop pool with beautiful views and great breakfast selection.
The Hotel Solo Sukhumvit 2 is verified as guest friendly. Guests will need to leave ID card with reception which is returned on departure.

The Royal Ivory Sukhumvit is located on Soi 4 and a 9 minute walk to Nana BTS station. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, free parking, free wifi in all rooms and 24 hour front desk. This is a "budget friendly hotel" and guests have said there's great value for the money. The rooms are large with comfortable beds and good water pressure in showers. On the downside, some have said it's a bit dated and some areas could use some maintenance.
The Royal Ivory Sukhumvit is verified as guest friendly. When asked if I can bring in guests without paying a joiner fee, the response was a simple "Yes, of course you can. FREE OF CHARGE."
White Orchid Inn Nana 2

The White Orchid Inn is located on Soi 4 and a 5 minute walk to Nana BTS station. This is a 2 star hotel with VERY basic amenities and a cheap price. You can get it as low as $15 USD a night. It's a 2 minute walk to Nana Plaza and near all the nightlife and bars. It does have free Wifi, safety deposit boxes, laundry service and a restaurant on site. This hotel is the ultimate "Cheap Charlie" experience!
Guests that have stayed here say it's cheap and comfortable, comfortable beds, (some say the beds are uncomfortable, guess you can't please all) basic amenities, and generally clean rooms. Though there's only a few floors, there is no elevator so if stairs are a problem for you skip this hotel.
The White Orchid Inn Nana II is verified as guest friendly. Your guest may need to leave her ID at reception, depending who is there at the time. She can stay free as long as you like.
Boss Suites Nana

Boss Suites Nana is located on Soi 4 and just a 5 minute walk to Nana BTS station. It's also just a few minutes walk to Nana Plaza. It has an indoor pool, fitness center, free wifi, safety deposit boxes and luggage storage.
Guests that have stayed here (including myself) say that this hotel is good value for the money. The rooms are a good size and I found the beds to be very comfy. Breakfast was good and the location is great if you want to be near all the bars on Soi 4. It's far enough from the noise so you'll get a good sleep. I sure did!
Boss Suites Nana is verified as guest friendly. They do not charge a joiner and most of the time you can just walk with your guest straight to the room if you accompany her without staff saying anything.
NANA Hotel Bangkok

Nana Bangkok Hotel is located on Soi 4 directly across from Nana Plaza and just a few minutes walk to Nana BTS. It's in the heart of all the action also directly across from Nana Plaza. The hotel has an outdoor pool, steamroom, free wifi, luggage storage and free parking. Guests enjoy the friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds and good air conditioning, great value for the price, and a good breakfast buffet. On the downside, this hotel can be a bit noisy. Afterall, it's a stone-throw away from all the nightlife.
Nana Bangkok Hotel is verified as guest friendly. This is the response from the hotel: "We do not have any joiner fee, but we only one guest each time. Yes, she can stay overnight without any joiner fee. Yes, she has to leave her ID at the security desk."

The Majestic Suites Hotel is located on Soi 4 right on the main road and a 2 minute walk to Nana BTS. This is a small and charming boutique type hotel with excellent reviews. It doesn't have a pool but guests enjoy the great value in such an excellent location being close to Nana Plaza, BTS station, nightlife, and street food. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. On the downside, the rooms are quite small so if you need a lot of space, this hotel might not suit your needs.

The Dawin Bangkok Hotel is located on Soi 4 with a 10 minute walk to Nana BTS. It's near all the nightlife you can handle including Nana Plaza. The hotel has free wifi in all rooms, luggage storage, coffee shop, outdoor pool and 24 hour front desk. Guests that have stayed comment on how quiet it is due to not being on the main road. The rooms are consistently described as clean and well-maintained. Staff is very helpful and easy to communicate with. Great value for the price, especially considering the location and cleanliness.
Majestic Suites Hotel is verified as guest friendly. This is the response from the hotel: "Dear Customer, the room rate is includes for up to 2 people, with an extra charge of THB 1,000 per night for a 3rd person, and visitors must deposit an ID card or passport at the reception each time. Best regards, Reservation Officer." In other words, this hotel is guest friendly for one guest, but if you want to bring 2 girls to your room overnight it will cost an extra 1000 per night. If you're just bringing 2 girls over for a couple hours of fun and not overnight, you won't be charged extra.

The Ibis Bangkok Sukhumvit 4 Hotel is located on Soi 4 just off the main road. It's about an 8 minute walk to Nana BTS station. What's unique about this hotel is that it allows pets unlike most hotels in Bangkok. There is free wifi in all rooms, a car park, luggage storage and shuttle services. Many people say this hotel has great value for the money, the staff are frequently described as friendly, helpful, and professional. The rooms are on the small side but comfortable. The shuttle service to Nana BTS is appreciated by guests as well as people saying the breakfast buffet is good with a variety of options.

The Landmark Bangkok hotel is actually on 138 Sukhumvit Rd which is like a 30 second walk from Soi 4. I included this hotel because maybe some guys will want a swanky 5-star guest friendly hotel to stay in, right in the heart of all the action and nightlife. This hotel has a 24 hour front desk, valet parking, free wifi, a beautiful outdoor pool and spa. I have stayed here before and I agree with others that say this hotel such as the very attentive, professional, and friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms with good amenities, high-quality facilities including a well-equipped gym and nice swimming pool. The downside is that if you are on the side where Nana Plaza is (it's very close) you might hear some noise.

The Boulevard Hotel Bangkok is located on Soi 5. It's very close to all the nightlife you can handle including Nana Plaza. It's a 2 minute walk to Nana BTS station which makes it easy to get around the city. Free wifi is included in all rooms, it has a beautiful outdoor pool, a golf course on site, shuttle service and luggage storage. Note that this hotel is situated in a predomintant Arab area. People say this hotel has a lot of value for the money, good breakfast options, but some found it limited, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. On the downside some have complained about rude and uncooperative staff, especially at reception.

Dynasty Grande Nana Hotel

The Dynasty Grande Nana Hotel is located on Soi 6 close to all the nightlife, streetfood, shops and more. Nana BTS is just a 5 minute walk away. It includes a pool, fitness center, free wifi, 24 hour front desk and luggage storage. This is one of my favorite hotels to stay in because it's close to all the nightlife but in a quieter area. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable beds, a little on the firm side. This hotel is great value for the money and many visitors book return visits. I especially liked the pool and gym area.
The Dynasty Grande Nana Hotel is verified as guest friendly. This is the response from the hotel: "All guests must register at the reception upon arrival with a valid identification card, which they will need to leave with reception until they depart. Guests must be 20 years or older. If a guest stays overnight and the room occupancy exceeds 2 people, an extra person fee of 800 THB per night will apply." So, if your girl comes to your room for just a few hours there are no joiner fees but if she stays overnight it's 800 baht extra.
PARKROYAL Suites Bangkok

The ParkRoyal Suites Bangkok (formerly named Phachara Suites Sukhumvit) is located on Soi 6. It has an indoor swimming pool, sauna, free wifi, luggage storage and shuttle service. It's close to all the nightlife but away from the noise so you'll get a good night's sleep. Guests staying here have said they received excellent service from the friendly staff, the rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds, good value for the money and the breakfast is varied and great. Negative comments are slow wifi but not much else. Overall a great hotel and one of my favorites.

Atlas Bangkok

The Atlas Bangkok (formerly named OYO 231) is located on Soi 7. It's a one minute walk to Nana BTS so super convenient. It's also close to the Terminal 21 mall and another 13 minute walk to Soi Cowboy. You'll also find miny bars on this street. This is a very basic budget hotel but does include free wifi, luggage storage and a 24-hour front desk. I've stayed here a couple of times and was pleasantly surprised by the value for the money as the rooms were clean, the staff was very accomodating, the rooms were a good size and included a mini-fridge, tv, and hair-dryer. On the downside, sometimes it can get a bit noisy and the hotel is a bit dated.

Club Mahindra Mac Boutique Hotel

The Club Mahindra Mac Boutique Hotel is located on Soi 7 with just a 4 minute walk to Nana BTS Skytrain and a few km from Pratunam market and MBK center. It's also close to all the nightlife and bars you can handle. Free wifi is included along with luggage storage, a coffee shop & bar, laundry service and free parking. Guest have commented that the hotel and rooms are very clean and it's quiet in the hotel considering the surroundings can be a bit noisy. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable, clean and nicely decorated.
The Club Mahindra Mac Boutique Hotel is verified as guest friendly. I've stayed here multiple times and confirmed this with the reception. It's girl friendly so your bargirl won't have any problems staying with you overnight and you won't have to pay any joiner fees.
The Key Premier Sukhumvit Bangkok

The Key Premier Sukhumvit Bangkok hotel is located on Soi 7 with just a 2 minute walk to Nana BTS Skytrain. Guests that stay here have commented on the cleanliness of the rooms and facilities. it has comfortable beds and well-maintained bathrooms, breakfast is generally good, with a variety of options. On the downside some people have said the rooftop pool is kind of small.

The Adelphi Suites Bangkok is located on Soi 8 and just a 2 minute walk to Nana BTS Skytrain and close to nightlife, restaurants and Terminal 21 shopping center. It has free wifi in all rooms, luggage storage, a rooftop swimming pool & fitness center, car park and airport transfer. Guest have said the staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are very spacious, clean and well-appointed. Full size fridges, microwaves and kitchenettes are available in some rooms. Despite being in a busy area, the rooms are noted for being quiet, providing a peaceful stay. Many say (including myself) this hotel has great value for the money.

La Petite Salil Sukhumvit 8

The La Petite Salil Sukhumvit is located on Soi 8. It's a bit of a walk to Nana BTS but only 10 minutes. This hotel is very unique as it's a Colonial-style building. It has free wifi, luggage storage, bicycle rental and shuttle service. Guests have said that customer service is excellent, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. It's also located in a quiet neighbourhood so noise is at a minimal - you can expect a good nights sleep! Security is great here and people also think the breakfast is very good. On the downside, some people have said the wifi is a little weak at times.
The La Petite Salil Sukhumvit is verified as guest friendly. From my experience at this hotel, I was confirmed that guests can stay free for a few hours but not overnight. There is an extra charge for overnight stay so keep that in mind. So if you're just going to indulge in "short time" with your guest, then this hotel is fine. Guests will still need to leave their ID card with reception and returned upon departure - this is for your own safety!

Sawasdee Hotel Sukhumvit Soi 8

The Sawasdee Hotel Sukhumvit Soi 8 is located on Soi 8 and just a 6 minute walk to Nana BTS. This 3 star hotel has free wifi in all rooms, laundry and shuttle service but has no pool. Guests that have stayed here say it's great value for the money, the staff is helpful friendly and attentive, the rooms are clean but on the small side. Breakfast is good with quite a bit of variety and many guests have made return visits to this hotel which is a positive sign.
The Sawasdee Hotel Sukhumvit Soi 8 is verified as guest friendly. I've stayed here before and brought a guest to my room overnight and the hotel did not ask for any joiner fees.
The Promenade Hotel

The Promenade Hotel is located on Soi 8 and just a 5 minute walk to Nana BTS Skytrain. Free wifi is included in all rooms, free parking, an awesome rooftop pool and luggage storage. Guest that have stayed here love the convenience of being close to restaurants, bars, cafe's and shopping. The staff always friendly and polite, the rooms are clean and well-maintained. People love the rooftop pool. I can attest to this because I spent an afternoon at the rooftop pool with a lovely freelancer! As a downside, some say the rooms are on the small side and the safes are located in the lobby, not in the rooms.

There is free parking available, luggage storage and a pretty awesome pool. What's unique about this hotel is there are 2 bedroom units available with a livingroom. People that have reviewed this hotel say the staff is very helpful and courteous, it's a quiet location away from the noise so you'll have a good night's sleep. It's good value for the money, people say. On the down-side, some have said the beds are a bit too hard. Personally, I didn't mind them, they were fine for me. To each his own I guess!

The Paradiso Boutique Suites is located on Soi 10 and just a 5 minute walk from Asok BTS Skytrain station. It's also close to both Lumpini Park and Pratunam Market, just 3 km away. This hotel has free wifi in all rooms, laundry service, safety deposit boxes in all rooms, 24-hour front desk and luggage storage. Guests that have stayed here (including myself) have said the rooms are clean and well-maintained, the hotel staff is friendly and helpful, it's great value for the money and although the rooms are a bit on the small side, they are very cozy and comfortable with nice beds. One downside is some people have complained about noise from other rooms while others didn't notice any. I guess it depends on who your neighbours are! I didn't hear any noise myself personally.

Fantastic value for the money at this hotel and it's one of my favorites as well. The breakfast is also amazing with a lot of variety. Some people have complained it's a bit far from the main road but come on, it's just a 5 minute walk to Sukhumvit!

The UPAR Hotels Sukhumvit 11 (previously named Smart Suites) is located on Soi 11 and just an 11 minute walk to Nana BTS. That's a lot of 11's! This 3 star hotel has free wifi in all rooms, a car park, luggage storage and laundry service. People that have stayed here comment on the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff with comfortable beds and decent room amenities. They also say it's a very budget-friendly hotel so not hard on your wallet. This is a trade-off though because some people complain about a lack of cleanliness, some maintenance issues such as old showers and toilets and slow internet speeds at times.
The UPAR Hotels Sukhumvit 11 is verified as guest friendly but with a catch. Read this in full. Here is the official response from the hotel on their guest policy: "Please note that there is no joiner fee as long as the second guest is not staying overnight, if the guest is staying overnight then an additional charge of 600 THB is applicable and ID needs to be submitted in the reception as per our hotel policy." So, only book this hotel if you plan to have girls come to your room during the day for short time only or if you don't mind paying an additional 600 baht for her to stay overnight.

Mercure Bangkok Sukhumvit 11
The Mercure Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 is located on Soi 11. Fun fact, this is the first hotel I spent my first night ever in Thailand over a decade ago. It was called the President Palace back then. I absolutely loved and confirm I was able to bring a lady friend to my room with no joiner fee. However, since then not only is the name different but it went through a LOT of renovations and is still guest friendly. This hotel is just a 4 minute walk to Nana BTS. It has amenities such as room safes, free wifi, flat-screen TV's, a large pool with bar, a gym, hot tub and restaurant. Guests that have stayed here have praised the staff for their friendliness, helpfulness, and efficiency. The rooms are described as spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Many guests appreciated the comfortable beds and city views. Many guests have had repeat stays and would recommend the hotel to others, often citing it as their preferred hotel in Bangkok. On the down-side, some say they sometimes heard noise from the street on the lower level rooms so when you arrive so just ask for the highest room possible. I was on a mid-lever floor and didn't hear any noise at all.

This hotel is unique because it is based on 60's decor. The hotel's retro, vintage, and art deco style creates a unique and attractive ambiance that many guests appreciate. The rooms are super clean and well-maintained and have been newly renovated. They are spacious, comfortable and well-equipped with AC, wifi, bottled water and toiletries. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. On the downside, due to the location just steps away from Sukhumvit it can be a bit noisy, especially at night.
The Miami Hotel Bangkok is verified as guest friendly. I stayed here before and did not have to pay a joiner fee when bringing a girl to my room and I recently contacted them to confirm once again and here was the response: "If you stay alone, you can bring one partner with you only and must register or leave the ID card or passport with our receptionists for the visiting."

The Red Planet Bangkok Asoke is located on Soi 14 and just a 3 minute walk to Asok BTS and MRT Subway station and the Terminal 21 mall. Each room has a safety deposit box and free wifi in rooms and all areas of the hotel. There is free parking and luggage storage. This is one of my favorite budget hotels even though there is no pool. Others say they love the clean rooms and well-maintained facilities. The staff is also praised for their hospitality and despite the hotel being very close to Sukhumvit road, it's surprisingly quiet so you'll have a good sleep. On the down-side, some say the rooms are on the smaller side which they are, but they are still comfortable and clean.
The Red Planet Bangkok Asoke is verified as guest friendly. I reached out to the hotel to get an update on their guest policy and here was the response: "We don't have a policy to charge a joiner fee . Maximum in the room can stay only 2 people. if 1 extra will be charged 500 baht per night. Best regards, SUPACHAI (TULIP) P." So in other words, if you are bringing just one girl back to your room there is no joiner fee but if you want to bring 2 at a time then there is a 500 baht fee for the 2nd one.
Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Bangkok

The Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Bangkok is located on Soi 14 and just a one minute walk to Asok BTS and the MRT subway so it's super convenient for those that don't want to walk a lot to get to transportation around the city. This very swanky hotel has a rooftop pool, a fitness center, Japanese restaurant and bar. It has valet parking, free wifi, 24 hour front desk and luggage storage. I was blown away by this hotel and it truly deserves this "exceptional" rating. It's a little on the pricey side but totally worth the money. The views of the city from the rooftop pool and lounge is spectacular. Other people that stayed here say the same and also comment on how clean the hotel is, how great the staff are, they love the large, modern rooms with the comfy beds and all the amenities. As for complaints, there aren't many but some said that the breakfast variety could be improved. Others say the pool is a bit small but I found it to be just fine. Some nice looking young Thai ladies were hanging out there (maybe that's why haha).
The Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Bangkok is verified as guest friendly. I verified it's girl friendly because my guest came to my room with no issues. People love the breakfast due to a good variety and have said even though it's a central location it's a quiet environment. On the down-side some have said some rooms have smaller beds than expected.

This hotel is very modern with well-appointed rooms. It has a fitness center, a spa, game room, free wifi in all rooms, free parking, shuttle service and luggage storage. Guests that have stayed here have said they love the location being close to the BTS and MRT stations and Terminal 21 shopping mall and various eateries. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and some rooms have bathtubs with very spacious layouts. Value for money is good and breakfast has had very positive reviews as well. On the downside, if you like to swim, you won't get a pool in this hotel.
The S15 Sukhumvit Hotel is verified as guest friendly. I have stayed here before on two separate occasions and was never asked to pay any joiner fees when I brought a lady friend to my room.

Best Comfort Bangkok Hotel
The Best Comfort Bangkok Hotel is located on Soi 19 and a 6 minute walk to the Asok BTS Skytrain station, Terminal 21 mall and MRT subway. It's a 10 minute walk to Soi Cowboy. This is a budget friendly hotel and one of my personal favorites when I want a nice clean place that doesn't cost much and is girl friendly. It's an older building and pretty basic, but it has everything you need including in-room safes, valet parking, rooftop pool and sauna, a very adequate gym, luggage storage and 24-hour front desk. People that have stayed here (including myself) say that they love the spacious rooms that even come with a kitchenette, comfortable beds, the friendly and accomodating staff and awesome value for the money. On the down-side, it's an older hotel and does show signs of aging but at least it's very clean.
The Best Comfort Bangkok Hotel is verified as guest friendly. I have stayed here on a few occasions and was not charged a joiner when I brought a lady guest to my room. The hotel confirmed this when I contacted them and simply said "We don't charge for joiner."

Sacha's Hotel Uno is located on Soi 19, just a 3 minute walk to Asok BTS and the MRT subway so getting around the city is so easy with minimal walking. Soi Cowboy is just another 8 minute walk from the hotel. This hotel has free wifi, a coffee shop and bar, luggage storage and a 24-hour front desk. People that have stayed here love the location close to transportation, nearby 7-Eleven stores, restaurants, massage parlors, and cafes. The rooms are clean, tidy and spacious with comfortable beds, robes, slippers and bath amenities. There is a good ground floor restaurant serves great food for lunch and dinner. On the down-side, some rooms have poor soundproofing, allowing noise from the corridor.
Sacha's Hotel Uno is verified as guest friendly. I can vouch for them myself as I've had a guest stay with me at this hotel recently and they did not charge her a joiner fee. I confirmed this with the hotel as well - so go ahead and book without worry!

The Hotel Mermaid Bangkok is located on Soi 29 and is just an 8 minute walk to the Asok Skytrain BTS station. This hotel has a large outdoor pool and hot tub, free wifi in all rooms, in-room safes, luggage storage, free parking and 24-hour front desk. The upgraded rooms include more space, sitting areas, kitchenettes and balconies. Guest that have stayed here say that the hotel's staff is friendly and helpful and often going above and beyond for them. They love the central location, close to major attractions, malls, BTS (sky train), and MRT (metro). The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and luxurious with comfortable beds and great views from the balcony. A nice perk is that Netflix is available on the flat-screen TV's. On the down-side, some say that the pool area looked better in photo's than in person and some areas are starting to show it's age.

The Aspira G Sukhumvit 33 is verified as guest friendly. Aspira hotels have a few locations and I verified with management that they do not charge a joiner fee. However, you are only allowed to have one free guest in your room at a time. Your guest may or may not be asked to leave her ID with reception.

What's unique about it is it allows pets. So if you have a furry friend with you he can stay and meet your bar girl when you bring her over with no joiner fee for both! This hotel has a hot tub, shuttle service to the BTS, free wifi in all rooms, a 24-hour front desk and free parking. Guests that have stayed here say that the staff is super friendly and helpful, they find the rooms well-equipped with facilities like a kitchen, washing machine, and large fridge and very comfortable beds. Many have said the hotel has great value for the money as it's reasonably priced. On the down-side, some guests have noted noise from construction and from the corridor.

Guests that reviewed this hotel have said that they loved the staff for being friendly, helpful, and providing excellent service. The rooms, particularly the beds, were described as comfortable. The design and decor of the rooms were also positively highlighted. Several reviews mentioned that the hotel offers good value for the price, with clean and comfortable accommodations. Positive mentions of amenities included strong air conditioning and good Wi-Fi. Some guests also enjoyed the cafe at the lobby. THE SACHA Apart-Hotel is located on Soi 38 in the Thong Lor district and is just a 7 minute walk to Thong Lor BTS Skytrain station. This modern and new hotel has free wifi, luggage storage, room service, shuttle service, 24-hour front desk and an amazing rooftop pool with beautiful views of the Bangkok Skyline. I stayed here myself and absolutely loved it and can vouch it's girl-friendly. Other guests love it too and highlight that the rooms are modern, clean, and have well-appointed amenities such as a kitchenette, Japanese-style toilets, and comfortable bedding. Many appreciated the spaciousness and stylish decor. The staff is friendly and helpful and always have a nice smile. Guests appreciate the rooftop pool, laundry facilities, and overall cleanliness of the hotel. The availability of kitchen facilities in the rooms is also a big plus for many. Several reviews mention that the hotel offers excellent value for money, especially considering the quality of the accommodations and services provided. There's hard to find any faults with this hotel but I did notice that bathtubs were kinda difficult to use and the sinks drained a bit slow. Minor things really.
THE SACHA Apart-Hotel is verified as guest friendly. Here is what the hotel's guest service agent told me: "If you stay 2 people in the room we don't charge But If you stayed overnight 3 people in the room . Please kindly note that there will be no extra-bed. And we charge an additional person 500 THB (only existing bedding). With my Best regards, Ms. Pimolpat S. Guest Service Agent."
So in other words, there is no charge to bring one guest to your room at a time but if you bring 2 at a time there is a 500 baht fee.
Sukhumvit Soi 39
Retro 39 Hotel
The Retro 39 Hotel is located on Soi 39 and just a one minute walk to Phrom Phong BTS Skytrain station. If you like quirky, this hotel is perfect for you. I found it amusingly odd but I loved it, and so did my guest - who was free to bring to my room! This hotel has decent sized balconies, a bar/cafe, free parking, free wifi in all rooms, luggage storage and shuttle service. Other guests that have stayed here loved the location being close to the BTS, restaurants, bars, and street food options. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and well-equipped with amenities such as toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, hair dryers, fridges, and kettles. It's also been described as a budget-friendly option with amenities similar to higher-end hotels. On the down-side, some have said the beds are a bit unstable - but that makes it more fun doesn't it? lol.
The Retro 39 Hotel is verified as guest friendly. I contacted the hotel on their guest policy and here was the response: "We do not charge a joiner fee for bringing a guest to your room for 1 or 2 hours or overnight. However, if you plan to have more than 2 guests staying overnight, there will be an additional charge."
So, keep it at just one guest at a time if you don't want to pay an extra fee.

Arawana Express Phromphong
The Arawana Express Phromphong is located on Soi 41 and is just a 3-minute walk to Phrom Phong BTS station. This hotel has in-room safes, free wifi in all rooms, luggage storage, a bar, restaurant & smoking area, laundry service and a 24-hour front desk. This is one of my favorite low budget guest friendly hotels in Bangkok. They could easily charge more and it would still be worth it. The staff is friendly and helpful, The rooms are frequently described as clean and well-maintained and equipped with amenities like air conditioning, kitchen facilities (microwave, stove, fridge), and comfortable beds. It's also close to a 7-11 and Tops grocery store. On the down-side, the rooms are on the small side, especially the bathrooms. I found this to be a minor inconvenience though.
The Arawana Express Phromphong is verified as guest friendly. I contacted the hotel even after my recent stay (where my guest was free) and they verified that you can bring a guest anytime, for a few hours or overnight and you won't be charged a joiner fee.

Guests that have stayed here comment on how convenient the location is, right on Sukhumvit and a couple minutes to the BTS making it real easy to get around the city. The rooms are described as cozy and comfortable, with memory foam mattresses and clean environments. Guests appreciated the well-furnished rooms with modern amenities like digital rain showers and brand-new Sony TVs. The staff received consistent praise for being friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel offers good value for money, with many reviewers noting that the quality of the stay exceeded their expectations given the price. On the down-side, there is no elevator which makes it challenging for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues.

Guests that have stayed here say that the hotel has exceptional service with warm and friendly staff. The Somerset Sukhumvit Thonglor Bangkok advertises itself to be on Sukhumvit 55 but it's actually on Thong lo 1 alley which is a minute walk from Sukhumvit 55. To get to Thong Lo BTS station, it's an 8 minute walk. They do have a Tuk Tuk service to Thong Lo BTS so you don't have to walk it if you don't want to. This is a pretty big and modern building which is a hotel and serviced apartment complex. You can choose from 3 types of studio rooms 2 types of 1 bedroom rooms and a 2 bedroom executive room. People that have stayed here say that the rooms are clean, well equipped and a good size. Many love the comfortable interiors with amenities such as bathtubs and washing machines. A lot have highlighted the amazing views from their rooms. Also liked is the large swimming pool, a well equipped gym and recreational area. Some people have complained that it's a bit far from the BTS but as I mentioned they do have a Tuk Tuk that can take you there. But come on, walking is good for you and it's only 8 minutes!
Somerset Sukhumvit Thonglor Bangkok is verified as guest friendly. When I contacted their reservation team I was told "We are guest friendly, however before you take someone up to the room, please let them drop their passport or ID card at the front desk for security."

I have left out quite a few hotels on this page because they are NOT guest friendly. For example, Tints of Blue Hotel on Soi 27 charges 1500 baht a night for a joiner which is just over $40 USD. The Tai-Pan Hotel on Soi 23 charges a joiner fee of 1000 Baht ($27 USD) per joiner. You'll want to avoid hotels like these (and many more that I don't mention) if you don't want to pay joiner fees for your guest.
