The Arawana Express Phromphong, located on Soi 41, is just a 3-minute walk from Phrom Phong BTS station. This budget-friendly hotel offers in-room safes, free Wi-Fi, luggage storage, a bar, restaurant, smoking area, laundry service, and a 24-hour front desk. It’s one of my favorite low-budget guest-friendly options in Bangkok, offering excellent value for money.
The staff is noted for being friendly and helpful. Guests frequently commend the rooms for being clean, well-maintained, and equipped with amenities like air conditioning, kitchen facilities (microwave, stove, fridge), and comfortable beds. The hotel is conveniently close to a 7-Eleven and Tops grocery store.
On the downside, the rooms are a bit small, particularly the bathrooms, but I found this to be a minor inconvenience.
