Have you seen the movie "The Hangover II"? This is the exact hotel where they shot the rooftop scene. The Lebua at State Tower is located at 1055/11 Silom Road, Bangkok Riverside, Bangkok, Thailand.
The views from the rooftop bar and restaurant are spectacular, especially at night. This 5-star hotel is surprisingly affordable, with rooms starting at just $136 per night, offering stunning views of the Chao Phraya River. The hotel features a beautiful outdoor pool, gym, valet parking, shuttle service, airport transfer, and free Wi-Fi in all rooms.
From my personal experience staying here and from what I've read from other guests, the rooms are very spacious, clean, and equipped with comfortable beds. I appreciated the Nespresso machines and large fridges. The views from the balcony are also quite amazing. The staff are always polite and very willing to help when needed. The breakfast received high marks for its diversity and quality, with specific mentions of made-to-order options like crepes and pancakes. Many guests enjoyed the breakfast setting, often by the pool. On the downside, the rooms are showing signs of aging, but this didn't bother me at all.
Guest Friendly Hotel: Guests can stay without paying extra fees, but reception might request their ID card.
